to Wikipedia, jogging is a form of trotting or running at a slow or leisurely
pace. Irrefutably, jogging has been one of the oldest and most popular form of
aerobic exercise. Fads come and go, but jogging has withstood some of the
trendiest exercise crazes that have come through the years. Without doubt,
jogging catalyses a cornucopia of benefits such as burning calories, boosting
up confidence, and strengthening family bonds. In fact, the vantages of jogging
just keep on piling up. Thus, I sturdily agree that jogging is the most
beneficial activity to spend during our pastime due to several reasons.
First
and foremost, jogging aids to burn calories in our bodies. When we jog, we will
be able to burn the calories in our bodies through the sweat excreted from our
bodies. For instance, if we jog for 30 minutes a day, we will burn at least 300
calories from our bodies. The longer the period, the more calories will be
burnt. Doing this consistently would accelerate the number of calories we lose
in the long run. As a result, we will be able to achieve our fitness goals
faster tan if we merely do other cardiovascular exercises such as walking.
Aside
for that, whenever we jog, we are actually boosting up our self-confidence as
well. To clarify, this is due to the fact that jogging keeps us fit and stay in
a better figure. Being in a good shape gives us a better sense of self-esteem.
Also, we will be able to amend our overall demeanour since jogging helps
release the feel-good hormones called endorphins. Hence, it is no doubt that
jogging is a really beneficial activity to spend during our pastime since it
keeps us feel better and jubilant the whole day. As a result, we will be able
to enjoy better days ahead.
Last
but not least, it is indisputable that jogging assists in strengthening family
bond. When we jog with our families, we will be able to become closer with each
other since we get more chances to interact well with them. To exemplify, we
can share our problems, or even our blithe stories, with them. By doing so, we
will become more comfortable and open towards each other. As a result, none of
the family members will feel ignored and forlorn. Also, this will lead to the
amendment in our mental health, which is no doubt tremendously pivotal for our
longevity.
All
said and done, it has been proven that jogging does bring us myriads of
splendid advantages in our daily lives. If all of us practise it consistently,
I am pretty sure that we all are able to enjoy a healthier life, free from the
intrusion of any perilous maladies. As the saying goes. “Prevention is better
than cure.” Therefore, let us jog and make this realm a better place!
