Social Medias & Their Wondrous Benefits

Benefits of Social Medias to Students

Dwelling in this sophisticated 21st century, it is implausible to deny the fact that social medias have become such a salient part in our today’s odyssey of lives. Indubitably, social medias such as Facebook, Instagram, and Twitter, have become phenomenal subjects, used by millions of dwellers all across the globe, be it the youngsters or the elders. With millions of users from all across the realm devoting countless hours to the sites, it is ridiculous to say that these social medias do not bring any vantages to our lives. Moreover, studying has become so much easier with the aid of these networks compared to back then, long before the digital era was pioneered. I, therefore, sturdily agree with the notion that social medias, such as Facebook, Instagram, and Twitter are beneficial to students whereby they disseminate instantaneous information, promotes virtual communication, and broaden students’ knowledge.

Predominantly, social networks help in disseminating instantaneous information among students nowadays. Without doubt, sharing information is no longer an encumbrance today as it has become facile for students to share information through these miraculous sites. For instance, students can ask questions about study or personal life, or even share them by posting them in just a simple click. Believe it or not, in just a matter of seconds, and abundance of responses will promptly pour in. This means, students no longer have to waste time going to the libraries or even bookshops just to look for information regarding their studies. Therefore, it has been proven that social medias disseminate quick information among students, making it easier to be shared in term of speed, time, and affordability.

Aside from that, social medias render it possible to promote virtual communication, among society, or more specifically, among students themselves. To clarify, students will be able to stay connected with their loved ones such as family members or peers through these network sites. They are no longer bounded by geographical boundary which halts them from meeting each other. This means, even if the person is miles away, they still can get connected with them, getting to know latest news about them by asking them through these wondrous sites. Besides, they can also post their pictures on these social medias. But doing this, they are less likely to lose contact with their loved ones.

Last but not least, it has been proven that social networks aid in broadening students’ knowledge. Since users of these sites share a cornucopia of knowledge, students are able to learn more about things that they had never known before. For example, students are able to learn other cultures and norms of other users since the users of these sites, such as Facebook, come from miscellaneous of different countries and background. Irrefutable, this knowledge will be resourceful for them in the future, such as when they travel to those countries late. Besides, distributing knowledge in these sites has no limit. Users can just post as much information as they want to. Imagine what will happen if students get to know at least one new knowledge on their daily basis, and in a month, that will be a pretty massive amount, won’t it? Of course it will! Hence, there is no doubt that social medias widen students’ knowledge so profound to help them triumph in their studies.

In a nut shell, I firmly agree that social medias such as Facebook, Instagram, and Twitter are profoundly beneficial to students. If students incessantly use them wisely, in 10 or 20 years time, I have a sturdy notion that creating a splendid generation in the future is no longer an implausible dream.
